Open in Ember
Ember runs on the Windows or Linux PC you play Ultra Street Fighter IV on, so open this link on that PC.
Didn't Ember open? It may not be set up on this PC yet.
Unzip it anywhere, start Launcher.exe once, then choose Open in Ember again. On Linux or Steam Deck, copy the link below instead.
Don't have Ember yet?
- You need Ultra Street Fighter IV on Steam, on Windows, or on Linux or Steam Deck through Proton.
- Download SF4 Ember Netplay, unzip it anywhere and start Launcher.exe once.
- Come back to this page and choose Open in Ember.
Public rooms and tournaments need Ember 1.1.0 or newer.
Then connect Discord
- In Ember, choose Online play, then Ember ID, then Discord, then Connect Discord.
- Approve in Discord with the Discord account you signed up for the tournament with.
- Go back to the tournament and register again. It now finds you.
Discord is optional in Ember. Tournament sites that find players by Discord account, such as BluMint, need it.
Ember ID is under Online play (on Home in 1.1). If you can't find it in either place, your copy is older than 1.1.0, so update.
If Ember does not open
That happens when Ember has not been started on this PC yet, on Linux or Steam Deck, or when the browser blocks it. Copy the link and paste it into Ember instead:
